Our mentorship program pairs young mothers of Second Steps with caring women from our community.

A caring mentor can make a powerful difference for a young mother by simply showing up and walking alongside her. That impact might look like:

•  Being a safe, judgment-free listener

•  Offering encouragement and reassurance

•  Sharing life wisdom with humility

•  Supporting her as she sets goals and navigates everyday challenges

•  Reminding her she is not alone

 It only takes a few hours a month to make a lasting difference.
