Collaborative Grant Workshop
September 22, 2026
This week, several local non-profits came together for an exciting pilot Collaborative Grant Workshop, facilitated by experienced grant professional Katie Buckley.
But the goal of this week is about much more than learning how to write stronger grants.
By the end of the workshop, participating organizations will have worked together to develop three collaborative, multi-agency grant proposals built around shared themes, common goals, and identified needs in our community.
This is what meaningful collaboration can look like: bringing organizations to the same table, identifying where our work intersects, reducing duplication in services, and finding opportunities to create greater impact together.
By approaching funding as a collective, we can better leverage the resources available in our community, strengthen partnerships across organizations, and ultimately create better outcomes for the people we serve.
There is so much knowledge, experience, and passion within our local non-profit sector. When we bring those strengths together, we can accomplish more than any one organization can on its own.
We’re excited to see what comes from this week — and where this kind of collaboration can take us next.
